Dan Savage is a managing partner at Resolute Digital, directing the SEO, SEM, and Web Analytics practices of the agency. In addition to a wealth of management experience, Dan is a programmer with extensive open source experience in php, Perl, MySQL and Linux.
Dan spent much of the first half of his career in the computer magazine publishing field, working on titles like Byte, PC/Computing, Client Server Today, and Datamation. In 1996, he began to focus nearly exclusively on the Internet as an emerging commercial publishing medium initially building strategic alliances on behalf of Thomas Register and later as CEO if ThomasB2B.com, the first niche business to business, pay-per-click advertising network.
Prior to joining Resolute Digital, Dan served as VP Media at MMI, where he managed SEM and SEO campaigns for several divisions of News Corp (including LocateTV.com, the New York Post, and Wall Street Journal), Christies, ePromos.com, QuickMed.com, and many others.
Dan is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School.
